The R4 Companion is an app designed to optimize your driving experience with the R4 radar detector. This feature-rich companion enhances the functionality of your detector with intelligent alerts and advanced muting capabilities. The app builds upon the success of the V1 Companion, incorporating years of optimizations and features specifically tailored for Uniden detectors.

One of the standout features of the R4 Companion is its enhanced GPS location-based 'false muting' feature called SpotLocks. This intelligent system learns and adapts to your driving patterns, automatically silencing false alerts in familiar locations. Additionally, you have the option to manually lock or unlock specific locations with ease from the main alert screen.

In terms of alerting and muting systems, the R4 Companion is fully optimized for the R4 platform. You will receive intelligent voice announcements and on-screen visuals to keep you well-informed and aware of your surroundings.

It's important to note that the R4 Companion app requires a Uniden R4 radar detector to function properly.
